“As a child I would sit on our back porch in the late afternoon sun, sewing sequins onto scraps of black velvet. The effect of the dramatic light and glowing colours fascinated me, and it is this love of colour and light that still inspires my artwork. My background is glasswork...painted, fused and leaded light-boxes. I created the Bella Luz line of lighting products to share the light, colour and dreamy imagery of my artwork. They cast a warm and useful, magical glow in any space.”
